MAV _ RIN (inscribedn in two lines, the letters A and V linked and the letter N with curved upper part of the right horizontal bar).

This coin has the same dies as the illustration of Patrick Nouchy in his book ''Les Rois Carolingiens de Francie Occidentale'' de Pépin Le Bref à Louis V (751 - 987) page 56. It is most probably the same coin, the author of which did not represent the entire blank, stopped at the beading and corrected the break in the blank.
