''ov Sev'' in the reference: AYC #1 ov Sev (LM), means that this coin is overstruck on a denarius of Septimius Severus. ''ov'' for overstruck, (LM) for Limes denarius. I observe a remainder of the portrait on the reverse, the hair and the profile indicate that it is Septimius Severus. In my opinion, this coin is overstruck on a Limes denarius, the composition of the metal leaves few doubts. This coin is therefore interesting because it reflects which coins were still circulating in 260, date of the overstriking for Regalianus.
