All aurei seen with the obverse legend IMP CAES DID IVLIANVS AVG and bare bust share the same obverse die. This die is associated with several different reverse dies for each type. It is therefore associated with the types: CONCORD MILIT, P M TR P COS and RECTOR ORBIS.

The dot between IVLIAN and AVg is very little, other coins confirm its existence more clearly.

The eagle on the reverse is turned to the right, unlike the type with the obvers legend: IMP CAES M DID SEVER IVLIAN AVG and the laureate, draped and cuirassed bust where he is turned to the left. On this coin, the eagle holds a crown in its beak, but this detail is hardly visible. The crown is better visible on the copies with the second bust mentioned above.
