Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Didius Julianus to the right, seen from three quarters ahead.

CONCO - R - D – MILIT

Concordia standing and holding a standard with each hand, the left standard being surmounted by an eagle. The eagle is turned to the left and holds a crown in its beak. The right standard is surmounted by a crown.

The eagle on the reverse is turned to the left, unlike the type with the obvers legend: IMP CAES M DID IVLIAN AVG and the bust laureate with  bare bust where he is turned to the left. The beard ends with two points while on the other die it ends with a point and a loop (broken die?) Indeed it is the only notable difference with the other die, all the other elements seem similar. The obverse die of the coin pictured here is also the one used (only? One coin seen) for the type P M TR P COS (AYC #4, RIC 6). Small difference on the reverse with the AYC #1, the standard is here surmounted by a crown.
