CONCORD MILIT / S – C

Concordia standing and holding a standard with each hand, the left standard being surmounted by an eagle turned to the left and the one on the right with the eagle turned also to the left?

Photo of a coin sold the 23/08/2006 by Classical Numismatic Group, Electronic Auction 146, lot 238, link to the sale: https://www.acsearch.info/search.html?id=312973, link to their website: https://www.cngcoins.com/. The eagle on the right standard (if present) seems to be turned to the left, but the state of the coin cannot be certain.

There are two obverse legend breaks: IMP CAES M DID SEV - ER IVLIAN AVG and IMP CAES M DID SE - VER IVLIAN AVG. For the reverse, there are variants with the eagle turned to the right, two eagles... The coins are classified in order: long obverse cut SEV - ER with the reverse variants: legend breaks, dots and orientation or number of eagles. Then the same with the short obverse break: SE - VER. Dots are often erased by wear, so ranking is difficult. However, I can already exclude the presence of dots when the coin is worn out, when the gap between the letters is too small to write something. On this coin I considered that there is no legend break on the reverse. I note breaks when the Concordia head or the standards cross the legend.
