Variant without jewel on the diadem. The officina letter may be inscribed above another letter, but this horizontal bar protruding at the bottom does not correspond to any other letter. In addition, the engraving of the lettering seems clumsy and we can think that this bar is simply an engraving that is too long of the horizontal bar of the letter H. The line also seems well aligned with the line of the letter H.

This series is characterized by a large bust. Unlike other series, RIC X had not referenced bust size variants for this series with star and legend CONCORDIA AVGG. As for Zeno, we notice a finer portrait on the first years (397 / 402), while the portraits of the following series will become wider and Theodosius II will look more to the right even if mixtures exist from 402.
