Theodosius II standing and facing, holding a decorated standard with the right hand and a globe surmounted by a cross with the left hand. A star in the left field.

Variant without jewel on the diadem. The classification number is ''c'' and not ''c var'' as is the case for other officinas when the jewel is absent on the diadem; because I have not seen any coin with this officina with a bust presenting a jewel on the diadema. This officina decorates the top of the standard with 3 dots like other officinas do. I haven't seen a dotless variant yet.

Note a copy with the letter A of AVG whose top is triangular and wide (see also the coin illustrated in the commentary of AYC #19 d var, RIC 232, with the same particularity but whose striking is indisputably official). This coin weighs 2.72 grs and even if the coin is very worn and the auction house notes that the coin is heavily cut, the weight is still disturbing and one can wonder if the striking is official. Here is the coin:
