Variant without jewel on the diadem. The variant with jewel on the diadem always seems to be associated with dies with the same “three dots above the standard” decoration. This variant without jewel on the diadem is associated with a decoration with one dot (which is the continuation of the vertical part) above the standard as shown by the coin illustrating this AYC #19 g var, RIC 232.
