Bust of Theodosius II facing, cuirassed, wearing a helmet with crest and a pearl diadem. Holding a spear passing behind his head with the right hand and a decorated shield with a horseman slaying an enemy, with the left hand.

Constantinople seated left on a throne, holding a spear with the left hand and a globe surmounted by a cross with the right hand. A shield behind the throne and a star in the field to the left.

Degenerate style coin. 

Malgré son style et quelques erreurs de légende ou sur la marque, on ne s'éloigne que très peu des nombreuses variantes sur ce monnayage et la qualité de gravure (surtout à l'avers) semble exclure un graveur isolé copiant les monnaies circulantes. Despite its style and some errors in the legend or on the mark, it deviates very little from the numerous variants on this coinage and the quality of the engraving (above all on the obverse) seems to rule out an isolated engraver copying circulating coins.

Type I: avec la marque CONOB ou COMOB (CONOB ici) et la légende de revers se terminant généralement avant le bouclier. Pas de ponctuation de légende de chaque coté. Un trône carré et droit, la jambe droite étant une protubérance triangulaire, drapé rigide et sceptre vertical. Ceci correspond au type III de RIC X. La var A est la même que le RIC X: bouclier allongé et long.
