A fourrée coin with a single error in the legend: IIIP instead of IMP. The style is slightly degenerate but resembles certain official productions with a similarly degenerate style. It is even possible that a barbarous engraver working officially, after gaining sufficient experience, created these counterfeit dies.
I classify this coin as a transitional type between Type I and Type II. It has elements of Type I: the legend ending before the shield and a Type A shield not found in Type II. And the design corresponds to Type II.
