One coin preserved at the Kunsthistorische museum of Vienna, INV. NR. Münzkabinett, RÖ 20745, link to the coin: https://www.khm.at/objektdb/detail/1035155/.

''ov Car'' in the reference: AYC #2 ov Max I, means that this coin is overstruck on a denarius of Caracalla. ''ov'' for overstruck. We read ANTONINVS on the reverse and TORI on the obverse. As mentioned by RIC 5B page 586 in note 1, the most probable reverse is IOVI CONSERVATORI. We therefore have a coin whose reverse is probably overstruck on a reverse of the same type and legend. I noticed that this obverse die was also used with the CONCORDIA AVGG reverse (see AYC #3, RIC -) and the ORIENS AVGG type (see AYC #8 ov?, RIC 6).
