''ov Alex Sev'' in the reference: AYC #1 ov Alex Sev, means that this coin is overstruck on an Alexander Severus coin. ''ov'' for overstruck. On the reverse, we read DER PIVS and the auction house has also classified this coin for Alexander Severus. The rest of the original coin has disappeared. I have noted and classified this coin as IVNONI REDINE. We can only distinguish IVNO .. However the letters compared to the drawing are small and we imagine that the legend IVNO REGINA would leave a large empty space. IVNONI REGINE or REDINE? Impossible to know, I classified the legend as being REDINE because it is the one that we read the most often.
