''ov Ju. Dom'' in the reference: AYC #4 ov Ju. Dom, means that this coin is overstruck on a denarius of Julia Domna. ''ov'' for overstruck. I followed Classical Numismatic Group concerning the identification of Julia Domna on the reverse, quote: ''Overstruck on a denarius of Julia Domna, whose bust can be seen on the reverse''. I can see a remnant of hair behind the letter E. Moreover it seems that we can read IA, JULIA? top left on the reverse. Furthermore, I add that a coin of her son Caracalla was over-struck with the same reverse die, see AYC # 4 Car, RIC 2. Interesting point allowing to see which are the stocks of coins used for precise issues.
I did not notice a legend break on the reverse, the only part of the printed legend being EGINE (same case for AYC #4 Car, RIC 2, using the same die). We can therefore neither conclude that a legend break is present, nor be certain that the legend was not IVNO REGINE instead of IVNONI REGINE.
