One coin preserved at the Kunsthistorisches Museum of Vienna, INV. NR. Münzkabinett, RÖ 20746, link to the coin: https://www.khm.at/objektdb/detail/1035156/.

'''ov?'' in the reference: AYC #6 ov?, means that this coin is overstruck on a coin undetermined emperor. ''ov'' for overstruck. Only the letter S of the original legend remains on the reverse, under Liberalitas.

I assigned n°5 of RIC 5B for this coin because the legends correspond to this type. The n° 5 noted a “purse?” in the place of the pileus. See comment of AYC #6 ov Max I. Anyway I attribute the numbers of RIC according to the legends. For example, RIC 5 is given for an overstruck denarius of Maximinus I Thrax. I have classified coins under this number because they use the same legends for Regalianus, even if they are overstruck on other emperors.
