Photo of a coin sold the 12/12/2011 by Numismatik Lanz München, Auction 153, lot 476, link to the sale: https://www.acsearch.info/search.html?id=1168771, link to their website: https://www.lanz.com/.

There are two obverse legend breaks: IMP CAES M DID SEV - ER IVLIAN AVG, IMP CAES M DID SE - VER IVLIAN AVG et IMP CAES M DID SEVE - RVS IVLIAN AVG. The break of the last legend is to be confirmed (letters missing on the coin seen). The coins are classified in order: long obverse cut SEV - ER with the reverse variants: legend breaks and dots. Then the same with the short obverse break: SE - VER. Dots are often erased by wear, so ranking is difficult. However, I can already exclude the presence of dots when the coin is worn out, when the gap between the letters is too small to write something.

This bust was not referenced before the sale of Numismatik Lanz München. Like the aureii, this is still a forgotten bust of the RIC. See comments for AYC # 5 B.
