Providentia standing left with her legs crossed, leaning on a column with her left arm. Holding a wand with the right hand. At her feet, a globe.

I found the photos of the sale: ''Naville 12 au 14 juin 1922, collection Paul Vautier et Collignon Maxime, monnaies impériales II.''. The coin is the lot 1440 (described by the catalog as B). 

Gordian I and II share the same obverse legend, the bust of Gordian II is distinguished by absence of hairs in front of his laurel wreath.
