IMP CAES M DID – IVLIAN AVG

Laureate head with bare bust of Didius Julianus to the right.

SECVRITAS P R

Securitas standing left, holding wreath and scepter.

Coin listed and illustrated Rivista Italiana di numismatica (1896) (reissue, pages 41 and 42, plate III, n°3 page 96 (in reality plate IV N.3, page 97) ). I own this document, I can confirm that the coin shown appears to match the descriptions. Quote from the book about coin, page 42 (Traduct from Italian): ''NB. The SECVRITAS P R reverse with the representation of Security, as described above, is unique to aureii and Otto's denari. The legend was reproduced in an interregnum denarius of Vitelius (Coh. 105), in an aureus by Vespasian (Cohen, suppl. 32,) and in two middle bronzes, one by Titus (Coh. 284) and one of Domitian (Coh. 517]; but always with the type of Security sitting in front of an altar. The denarius described for
Didius Julianus is therefore the only reproduction of the Ottonian type.''.
