There is a slight break between the letters P and E of PERP on the obverse, too weak to be noticeable. This space is created because of the tip of the spear which was a little too close to the edge. The same case appears on the coin illustrated in RIC X plate 69, n °3232 with PE - RP. As well as a third coin illustrated in Lacam: CLXII, Groupe III, série b, source: Stockholm. Generally, many of the solidi of this mint have light spaces on PERP, the spear being often quite long.

These coins are struck at the same time as the coins of Julius Nepos and its recognizable with the marks M D without star.

On the reverse I noted ''Angel'' in the description. We can also say that this is Victoria but the image of the victory at that time had indeed become that of an angel symbolizing the Christian victory.
