RIC 4B cites a molded and probably irregular coin in note n° 14, page 162 with the reverse showing Mars with trophy and spear. Source: British museum.

Gordian I and II share the same obverse legend, the bust of Gordian II is distinguished by absence of hairs in front of his laurel wreath.
