VRBIS – ROMA

Roma seated, on a throne from the front with the head turned to the left. Holding a victory crowning her resting on a globe with the right hand and an inverted spear with the left hand.

Coin illustrated in RIC X plate 64, n° 2853. Obverse legend difficult to read on the photo. I noted the one given by the RIC X and which seems to be that of the illustrated coin. There may be a pearl necklace on the bust, to be confirmed. Source: Bibliothèque Nationale de France.
