Monograms Karolus:

(1) With the letter A inscribed at the top in the diamond on the middle.

(2) With the letter A written at the left in the diamond on the middle.

We seem to distinguish the tip of the letter A to the right in the center of the diamond. It is therefore probably the monogram "Karolus (2)".
