DORESTADO (circular legend with the letter S inclined, around the Carolus monogram (1) surrounded by a circle made up of dots, a cross between the letters O and D).

Monogram Carolus:

(1)  Without letter A in the diamond on the middle.

I noted the triangles on the obverse as being in the upper corners of the middle cross, considering that the cross separating the legend is the ''north'' of the coin. It seems to me that the letter between the letters A and R is an inverted letter L. Type 1, var 1 shows this same form instead of the letter L. So I noted the type as CALRVS REX FR, the letter  being noted in the description to indicate the shape.
