CARLVS REX FR (circular legend around the Karolus monogram (1) surrounded by a circle made up of dots, a cross between FR and CARLVS).

SEN - NES (circular legend around a cross surrounded by a circle made up of dots, a cross between the two letters N, another between the two letters S. One globule at each corner of the cross in the middle, another in the upper loop of the last letter S).

In my opinion, it is indeed a globule in the middle of the upper loop of the last letter S on the reverse. We see that the letter S turns around this globule (see the shape of the upper part where we see the end ending in an arc and following the shape of the globule below). The crosses separating the legend also have a globule in their center. There is no letter A in the monogram, it is a break in the form of a line which also continues outside the monogram.
