TOLVSA (circular legend with the letter S inclined, around the Karolus monogram (1) surrounded by a circle made up of dots, a cross between the letters A and T).

Monograms Karolus:

(1) Without letter A in the diamond on the middle.

(2) With the letter A inscribed at the right in the diamond on the middle.

(3) Without letter A in the diamond on the middle, the letters K, R and S inscribed normally, lthe letter L inverted.

(4) Without letter A in the diamond on the middle, the letters K and R inscribed normally, the letter S inverted and the letter L inscribed normally.

 

Three coins seen with three different obverse dies and showing a letter P (two type 3 and this one type 3, var 1) but with uncertainty about this coin type 3, var 1 which can be a poorly executed letter R.
