CARLVS REX FR (circular legend around a cross surrounded by a circle made up of dots, a cross between FR and CARLVS).

TOLVSA (circular legend with the letter S inclined, around the Karolus monogram (1) surrounded by a circle made up of dots, a cross between the letters A and T).

Monograms Karolus:

(1) Without letter A in the diamond on the middle.

(2) With the letter A inscribed at the right in the diamond on the middle.

(3) Without letter A in the diamond on the middle, the letters K, R and S inscribed normally, lthe letter L inverted.

(4) Without letter A in the diamond on the middle, the letters K and R inscribed normally, the letter S inverted and the letter L inscribed normally.
