Strange thing, a second copy with the same dies and the same form of blank was posted on the forumnumismatique.com, link to the topic: https://www.numismatique.com/forum/topic/25698-identification-dun-denier-de-charlemagne/. The resemblance between the two coins is too close and seems really suspicious. So I chose not to use the photos of this coin given the uncertainty about their authenticity.
