CARo _ LVS (inscribed in two lines separated by a line composed of globules and ending with two legs at each end).

SCE _ MIR (circular legend around a circle made up of small dots with one globule inside; a cross between the letters R and S. One globule to the left of the cross, one globule under the letter S and another between the letter E and the letter M).

The Münzkabinett der Staatlichen Museen in Berlin, classifies this coin for the mint of Laon (Church of Notre Dame). It is more probably the Sainte-Maure mint as mentioned in old works.
