The globule on the obverse is uncertain due to the state of the coin ... I noted, like cgb.fr, the legend of obverse CARo LVS, the coin is cut in half and it must remain sufficient space for the letter O. Similarly, on the reverse, VC is probably followed by the letter E. I quote cgb.fr about this copy: ''Monnaie absente des ouvrages de référence attribuable à Uzès en raison de la présence des lettres VC[E] pour VCECIA se rencontrant sur les monnaies carolingiennes de Charlemagne d’un autre type.''. Traduction: Coin absent from reference works attributable to Uzès due to the presence of the letters VC [E] for VCECIA found on Carolingian coins of Charlemagne of another type.
