HLVDOVVICVS IMP (circular legend around a cross surrounded by a circle made up of dots, a cross between the letter P and the letter H).
MELDIS (inscribed in one line with the letters L and S inverted).

This coin is perhaps an contemporary imitation. I notice that the letters S are inverted (common on official coins) but also that the letter L is inverted too on the reverse, which is rare and that I have never seen yet on official coins. I add the letter M, on the reverse, in the form of H. However, I think that this coin is all the same official, there is no error of legend, simply an awkward engraving.
