HLVDOVVICVS IMP (circular legend around a cross surrounded by a circle made up of dots, a cross between the letter P and the letter H. One triangle between the letter D and the letter O).

VEN _ ECIAS (inscribed in two lines, a cross to the left of the letter V, a globule between VEN and ECIAS, a triangle between the letter A and the letter S).

The only difference with type 1, var 1 is the presence of the triangles on the obverse and reverse. Again, as on type 1 and type 1, var 1, we see the letters M and P of IMP which are linked.
